Coun. Ben Hufton has finally rest in peace as he was buried this morning at the St. Leonard Memorial Gardens. He received his final blessing at the St. Francis of Assisi Cathedral and proceeded to a procession. He was given his 17-gun salute by the Reitzmic Grand Royal Marines.

Councilor van Allen on the other hand visited yesterday and arrived at about 3:00 pm. Colleagues of the late councilor also arrived this morning to pay respect to the man that authored the first EU Council Proposal from the URR since we joined the assembly.

Tomorrow, the body will be transferred to St. Francis of Assisi Cathedral following a procession. Then, the final procession will be held at about 10:15 am going to St. Leonard Memorial Gardens. He will be given a 17 gun-salute as he rests in peace.

The Hufton family prepares the public viewing hall for tomorrow's event. Nations like @Spain and @Inquista have recently sent condolences as well as colleagues of the late European Councilor. It is also expected that Coun. Friedrich van Allen will visit on February 16 together with HM George I and PM Mark Johnson.
